  Training programme of art and craft was conducted during 6 to 21 December 2016 in department of Home Science,  KVK sagroli. Total 12 participants were there in the training. Different types of decorative material and jewelry items from crystals and purls were demonstrated to the participants like garland, Bangles,  wrist band, hand pouch, mobile cover, purse, wall hangings and other decorative material.  Ms Archana Dhade was the trainer for the programme. Women were very devotedly participated as this was appealing topic for them. This can be a good house hold business for women.

“KESHAV” MILK CO-OPERATIVE SOCIETY INAUGURATED

            Unemployment or situations like drought are not all about frustration. It does show a way, if you have a will. SSM organized a Study Tour to Gujarat with 20 rural young farmers from Village Sagroli and surrounding area. They visited various Co-operative Milk Societies, small and large scale dairy farms, interacted with the farmers, learnt much about dairy industry and returned with a determination.
            In less than a month, the “KESHAV” MILK CO-OPERATIVE SOCIETY’ Sagroli was inaugurated on the auspicious Vijay Dashami (The Dasara) day i.e, on 11^th October 2016.
            With the initiation of Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Veterinary Scientist, the dairy farmers has come together and formed a committee of 17 members to run the society. The Milk Society, which started functioning at a small scale, is likely to be expanded, as and how, the milk input increases.  A milk collection center working at present buys and sells the raw milk brought by the local farmers, in the morning and evening, every day. As the farmers are the owner of the society, the profit will also be shared among themselves as a shareholder. The producers and consumers have expressed gratification as their need has been fulfilled.

Training conducted on EM Technology for Effective Agriculture

Training conducted on EM Technology for Effective Agriculture :

        KVK, Sagroli has organized a training session for the young farmers on the usage of EM Technology, on 21^st November at the campus.

        EM Technology, is an innovative , low cost  and high yielding mechanism , proved as the best alternative to the use of fertilizers and other chemical pesticides.  Over use of fertilizers not only affect the fertility of the soil but also fleeces the farmers on expenditure.  Alternatively, the usage of EM Technology facilitates an  optimum use of micro-organisms, high yield and  cost effectiveness  on farmers.

        Mr. Bhagwat Kawle, Regional co-ordinator, EM Maple Company Ltd. has presented the demonstration of various techniques in the practice of this innovation.

इक्रीस्य।ट  आणि महाबीज यांच्या सहकार्याने रबी ज्वार बिजोत्पादन कार्यक्रम 

        हैद्राबाद येथील आंतरराष्ट्रीय ईक्रिस्याट आणि महाबीज यांच्या सहकार्याने बीजोत्पादन कार्यक्रम सगरोळी आणि परिसरात कृषी विज्ञान केंद्राच्या माध्यमातून राबविण्यात येत आहे . यासाठी सगरोळी आणि आताकली या गावांची निवड करण्यात आली आहे- त्यासाठी शेतकऱ्यांशी चर्चा करण्यात येत आहेत. दिनांक १६ ऑगष्ट रोजी सगरोळी येथे माणिकप्रभू मंदिरात  शेतकऱ्यांशी चर्चा संपन्न झाली. अध्यक्ष म्हणून गावचे उपसरपंच श्री सुनील देशमुख होते . 

       सर्वप्रथम संक्रिती संवर्धन मंडळ चे संस्थापक कै . बाबासाहेबांच्या प्रतिमेचे पूजन करण्यात आले. कृषी विज्ञान केंद्राचे कार्यक्रम समन्वयक डॉ . सुरेश कुलकर्णी यांनी सर्व शेतकऱ्यांचे स्वागत केले आणि बिजोत्पादन कार्यक्रमाबाबत माहिती दिली . डॉ  गजानन ढगे  यांनी जनावरांना लागणारा चारा आणि त्याची प्रत याविषयी विस्तृतपणे माहिती दिलि. श्री. कपिल इंगळे यांनी ज्वारी पिकाच्या उत्पादकता, क्षेत्र, लागवड पद्धती बाबत विस्तृतपणे मांडले. बिजोत्पादन करण्यासाठी लागणारे Isolation चे अंतर,  पेरणीची पद्धती विविध जाती, लागवडीनंतर घ्यावयाची काळजी. इत्यादी माहिती दिली.  श्री. प्रवीण देशपांडे यांनी ज्वारी पिकावरील विविध रोग व किडी बाबत विस्तृत माहिती दिलि. 

        डॉ . दत्ता म्हेत्रे यांनी शाशकीय स्तरावरील विविध योजना यांची माहिती देऊन पीक विमा, गटाच्या माध्यमातून देण्यात येणाऱ्या विविध सुधारित औजाराचा  वापर करावा असे आवाहन केले.

अध्यक्षीय समारोपात उपसरपंच श्री सुनील देशमुख यांनी  हैद्राबाद येथील आंतरराष्ट्रीय ईक्रिस्याट आणि महाबीज यांच्या सहकार्याने बीजोत्पादन कार्यक्रम आपल्या गावात राबविण्यात येत असल्याबाबत कृषी विज्ञान केंद्राचे आभार मानून शेतकर्यांनी याचा पुरेपूर फायदा घ्यावा असे आवाहन केले. श्री व्यंकट शिंदे यांनी आभार मानले.

KVK, Sagroli conducted training for Agricultural Assistants:

The KVK, Sagroli organized a 18 day training for 40 Agricultural Assistants from 7^th Feb to 25^th Feb.

                

The training focused on the measures for practicing the conservation of soil fertility and soil strengthening.  The resource persons reiterated the advantages of organic farming and discussed the impact of chemical fertilizers on the crop production.

The trainees were educated on various agricultural practices, soil testing, use of I.T., role of live stock, the concept of Agricultural school and so on……

Training on Goat Farming

 

The KVK Sagroli conducted a bi-day training on Goat farming for women on the 27^th and 28^th of January.

The residential training was attended by more than 60 women representing 6 taluquas of Nanded dist. The participants were given a comprehensive training on rearing of goats; commercial-innovative-scientific practices etc. The trg. Was inaugurated by Shri Bhalchandra Degloorkar, SSM and was monitored by The Director, KVK-Sagroli.

Self Help Group Women’s meet on 19th January:

The open auditorium at the SSM’s head quarters witnessed a lively women’s meet with a huge gathering of Self Help Groups, Anganwadi Sevikas and Farm laborers.

The guest speaker, Mrs. Vishala Patnam, monitored wide discussion on the social, cultural and economical status and development.

The enthusiastic participation of women aroused a sense of women empowerment.

Training Programmes by KVK

 

Professional farming is a key part in the policy of globalization today.  Farming with the available sources and markets is given more importance.  Gaining more profits in certain areas than the production is more valuable.

The KVK sagroli arranged various training programmes for farmers under… the World Bank Aided Competent Agricultural Development Projects of Maharashtra.

A seven day Farmers’ Training was conducted from the 15^th April. On the production and sale of processed product of Soya bean. The objective was to provide more profits to farmers and enable them  initiate small scale and processing units based on their crop patterns. 

There is a great scope in the field of Horticulture, vegetable growing, herbal and floral culture.  Considering this scope, farmers’ visits to Jalgaon & Pimplagaon Mahadev were arranged under National Orchard Scheme to educate them with the information about poly-houses, Shed-net and Micro Irrigation projects.
