  Training programme of art and craft was conducted during 6 to 21 December 2016 in department of Home Science,  KVK sagroli. Total 12 participants were there in the training. Different types of decorative material and jewelry items from crystals and purls were demonstrated to the participants like garland, Bangles,  wrist band, hand pouch, mobile cover, purse, wall hangings and other decorative material.  Ms Archana Dhade was the trainer for the programme. Women were very devotedly participated as this was appealing topic for them. This can be a good house hold business for women.

“KESHAV” MILK CO-OPERATIVE SOCIETY INAUGURATED

            Unemployment or situations like drought are not all about frustration. It does show a way, if you have a will. SSM organized a Study Tour to Gujarat with 20 rural young farmers from Village Sagroli and surrounding area. They visited various Co-operative Milk Societies, small and large scale dairy farms, interacted with the farmers, learnt much about dairy industry and returned with a determination.
            In less than a month, the “KESHAV” MILK CO-OPERATIVE SOCIETY’ Sagroli was inaugurated on the auspicious Vijay Dashami (The Dasara) day i.e, on 11^th October 2016.
            With the initiation of Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Veterinary Scientist, the dairy farmers has come together and formed a committee of 17 members to run the society. The Milk Society, which started functioning at a small scale, is likely to be expanded, as and how, the milk input increases.  A milk collection center working at present buys and sells the raw milk brought by the local farmers, in the morning and evening, every day. As the farmers are the owner of the society, the profit will also be shared among themselves as a shareholder. The producers and consumers have expressed gratification as their need has been fulfilled.

Training conducted on EM Technology for Effective Agriculture

Training conducted on EM Technology for Effective Agriculture :

        KVK, Sagroli has organized a training session for the young farmers on the usage of EM Technology, on 21^st November at the campus.

        EM Technology, is an innovative , low cost  and high yielding mechanism , proved as the best alternative to the use of fertilizers and other chemical pesticides.  Over use of fertilizers not only affect the fertility of the soil but also fleeces the farmers on expenditure.  Alternatively, the usage of EM Technology facilitates an  optimum use of micro-organisms, high yield and  cost effectiveness  on farmers.

        Mr. Bhagwat Kawle, Regional co-ordinator, EM Maple Company Ltd. has presented the demonstration of various techniques in the practice of this innovation.
